Stereotype Me As The Deadline Maker Happy Person. January 8, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 2:57 pm

I must start by saying that when I answered the questions for the staff profile on the website I put deep and sincere thought into every question :/, but for the life of me could not think of the theme song for my life. So, if you’ve seen my profile, I don’t have a sad life that relates to “Fire and Rain”… I am here to announce to the world (or my family that reads this) that I have found the theme song to my life!! “He Ain’t The Leavin’ Kind” by Rascal Flatts. Check it out :P.

Now on to one of the brilliant topics coach gives us to talk about…
THREE NEW RULES.
Ok… Well I warn whoever keeps reading this that it may get random, but I will explain every one.
1. Adults get punished for missing deadlines also. Now, fellow highschoolers, we get in trouble for missing deadlines such as projects or work; and so do MOST adults with jobs. However I know atleast one exception to that… the construction workers working on our HTV STUDIO! They take their dandy old time then screw up our trophy case. Also, while I’m making MY HTV deadline, I’m sitting in a non-heated room because the adults working on our studio decide we don’t need heat yet…. even though it’s January. Next group of construction workers, THE ONES WORKING ON GRANT! Northsiders know what I’m talking about. This street was suppose to be done in October… Nuff Said!
2. No Stereotyping on National T.V. Ever heard of the show on ABC Family called “The Secret Life Of The American Teenager”? Well I will start out by saying I myself have watched this show, and even though it is corny enough to make you wanna scream, it is very addicting. On the other hand, is every American teenager having kids? No. Is every American teenager having sex? No. Then why is that all this show is about? Seriously who writes this stuff?
3.BE HAPPY!

Flying, Spiders, and Vocal Chords December 9, 2008

I’m going to start my blog with the talent I wished I had, first the not so human one. I’m sure I’m not alone in this, but I wish so very badly that I could fly! I just think it would be so cool to be able to soar above the skies and look down on the Earth. And feeling the wind beneath my wings, (well the wings I would have to fly with) it’s just like a dream!
The humanly possible talent I wished I could have is singing. Now a little background information about me and my family… Not one can sing, I think my mom’s cousin can sing, but I’m talking about my parents, brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents; you should hear us sing Happy Birthday, not pretty. It just doesn’t run in my blood, I’m the type of kid that gets an A+ in P.E. and C in Choir (the teacher likes me :]). I was also the type of kid that tried out for a solo in my church’s kid’s choir and never got one time after time. It’s just how my life goes; I play sports and don’t sing. I would never trade in my athleticism for anything, but if I could sing like Carrie Underwood I’d be ecstatic!
Something else I’m going to talk about is my phobia. I am scared to death of spiders! I don’t know if it’s the fact that they bite or that they are little, hairy, and they crawl. Spiders are just very nasty creatures, and I don’t like them. I consider this dislike for them a phobia!
So long for now!!

OBSTACLES FACED DURING LAST STORY…
Well there is this little thing Mehl likes to call mic cords and I had an issue with them in this last story! In an interview you should not fling them over the shoulder, Mehlenna won’t like that! So next time the mic is going up the shirt, not over the shoulder.
Also there are five high schools in Springfield not seven… in case you wondering, because I can’t count.

WINTER EXCITEMENT…
I love Thanksgiving and CHRISTMAS! Thanksgiving is amazing because of all the food! And football! It’s so great! The other awesome thing is Christmas, what could be better than Christmas music, presents, parades, and family? Seriously! Last year, my brothers and I watched endless Full House and I’m feeling some more of that!

WINTER DREAD…
two words… dry skin

FIVE PLACE I MUST VISIT SOMEDAY…
1. Australia… The hot accent.
2. Moosburg, Germany… Yes, MOOSburg like my name!
3. Forks, Washington… Twilight series anyone?!?!
4. Hong Kong… Sounds cool.
5. Borneo Rain Forest… Home of the corpse flower!

THE MOST IMPORTANT PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY I OWN IS…
My parents may be surprised to read this, but my most important piece of technology is my ipod, not my cell phone. I just love listening to music! Even more than… texting :)

SOMETHING I LEARNED THE HARD WAY…
I can’t think of anything off the top of my head, although I know there is more than one thing.

A Leap Forward By Joe September 25, 2008

One week, one day. Oh man it’s getting close! I have successfully gotten my dress, shoes and earrings (my dress doesn’t require a necklace, whether that’s good or bad I don’t know!) for homecoming 2008. Also, today we found out the theme, which if I remember right it is Night of the Dragon… I’m pretty excited to see the decorations for that!!
This year’s homecoming is going to be really exciting especially because I am one of the junior attendants! The other one just happens to be Chelsy, who is also a HTVer! We are wearing dark green dresses, and they are beautiful!
My date’s name is going to be a secret, we’ll just call him Joe, because I’ not sure if he wants the fame of the world wide web. Anyways, I have gone to the past two homecomings with Joe and he’s pretty much my boyfriend! But you don’t care about that, I’ll just tell you how he asked me to homecoming. It starts with legion baseball, when he got hit first homerun. His mom kept the baseball and wrote his name, 1st homerun, and the date on the baseball. Now we are skipping up to a couple weeks ago… His mom bought case for the baseball, and of course he brought it over to show me! He told me I must keep it at my house for atleast one night, and me being skeptical asked why. Joe totally thought he could trick me and tried to play it off but I just kept asking why! So when he left I inspected this baseball, and on the bottom I found… “Homecoming?”. It was really really cute and of course my mom took pictures!! The past two times he asked me to my face so I was pretty impressed by Joe’s leap forward! Nice Job Joe!!

I think that’s it… Buh Bye for now!
